  • A well established group of restored , authentic, rustic buildings and businesses , from history. Great teaching tool for schools as well as family tours.
  • absolutely awesome place the hiatory is amazing and the fact that they keep it up is unreal. Thank you to every single employee
  • Place of easy access. It's worth stretching ten minutes and go there after visiting the Dexter museum ... See how was the environment of decades ago. Preserved houses and tree-lined streets. Recommend.

  • Old Alabama Town is a great visit for any history enthusiast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and has an excellent knowledge of how early Southern life was like. It is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon catching up on history.
  • Enjoyed looking at the old homes, would have enjoyed the tour if the parents had been included, tours were not well planed for larger groups.
  • I was only able to visit the working block, but there was a lot of great history for 19th century Southern life. There were some gents in the blacksmith shop (YouTube channel Bleached Nebula) who really made the visit.
  • Really cool little area, like the others have said, great to take the kids and show them how things used to be haha
  • A great place to visit and take your kid(s)!
