  • When Word first occurs this Association Park walks in the shadows among the trees. In Monterey are different. State Historic Park is a group of buildings in the historic part of the city, including Colton Hall California Constitution was adopted and the customs building, where was first raised the American flag. All of these buildings (Park) can be bypassed for half-day. If there's time, then it is necessary to do so.

  • The Guide to Monterey, which will (probably) of each hotel listed historical route through the city, more precisely just this Monterey State Historic Park, which is its historical part. The building restored and well restored. A visit to most museums is free of charge.

  • Excellent local history, we elected to wait for the guided tour and to listen to the guide, who explained the area and how it was the beginning of the United States in California.

  • The courtyard out back was great for the wedding reception we had there. Wonderful venue for such an event. Access to restrooms is limited. Not very private since it's in a public square.
  • A nice pitstop when going to the wharf.
  • Great place to visit with your family to learn about California's early history.
  • Great museum and make sure to visit the 2nd floor -it is full of native american artifacts!
  • Beautiful area to explore and hangout. You can really feel the history as you walk around the area
