Skirted with protected areas, Monterey Bay teems with wildlife, including otters, seals, dolphins and whales. Areas around the bay are protected marine lands with dynamic ecosystems that you can explore on foot. Consider enjoying the bay's crisp waters on one of the beaches hugging the coastline or visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium. A drive along the coastal road is another way to see the area that provides views and plenty of opportunities to pull off for photos. Beautiful city. Lovely views. Very touristy. Enjoyed walking Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Great restaurants and shopping. The sea lions were loud and fun. A true California experiences.

Wonderful place. Head to coast guard pier to enjoy California seal, sea lions and other birds. This place will keep kids entertained. Food is good on old fisherman wharf, you can buy tickets to whale watching trips.

This is a lovely place. You could hear the sea lions and my recommendation is to go by boat to see the town from the ocean.

A very popular tourist spot and definitely a must visit place In Monterey, California. It used to be an area for sardines canning factories but now is a top tourist destination. There are hotels, boutiques, souvenir shops, icecream and chocolate store, restaurants, arcade games where the whole family can enjoy.

It's beautiful and don't forget to go on the whale watch.
-
Definitely one of the most beautiful places I've lived in America. The sunsets are surreal, the jogging path along the coastline is beautiful, the scenery is master photography level, and the drive to Big Sur is amazing.
