  • Not well known to outsiders. The scenery is OK. It is a good regional park for the locals. Not worth a long drive to go there.  more »

  • First do NOT just punch in "Jacks peak" in your GPS. It will take you to a weird backroad that does not have access to the park. You MUST go to the front entrance as listed on the park website. Once w...  more »
  • Clean and quiet and easy to get to. The hiking is leisurely, but can be made much longer by walking multiple trails. I found it very pretty.
  • Very easy to moderate hiking with great views if the weather is clear. One can easily hike to both parking areas.
  • Great views of monterey from the lower trail nice selection of walking trails easy to walk good exercise
  • Great place go and walk with your dogs.
