Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web
A waterfront street named after John Steinbeck's novel, Cannery Row is the setting for many of Steinbeck's harrowing stories. The Pacific Biological Laboratories, a well-known location in Steinbeck's novel, is a preserved landmark, along with the Chinese-American store across the street. The biologist that once manned the laboratory gave his name to the area along the coast, now the Edward F. Ricketts State Marine Conservation Area, where sea lions thrive. The waters are open for sport fishing and water sports, such as kayaking. Pay a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to view some of the species that populate the water. • in 2005, the cannery row was sleepy and the Aquarium the only attraction of the place. 2016, the Aquarium is still a visit worth. Cannery Row, however, has developed into: many shops, restaurants, Cafés, etc. are tourists souvenir here and find snacks and can stroll relaxing.

  • DO NOT GO TO these guys to rent a retail space, take your business somewhere else. Bill and his entire team sounded nice and promising and friendly and all that… But they turned out as of the most dishonest property managements to do business with. Specially Bill Grimm who runs that office, he is a horrible guy and dishonest and unprofessional person. He must be ashamed the way he treats people… They think people are stupid. So, I am telling you, do yourself and your business a big favor and DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS TO RENT A RETAIL SPACE IN CANNARY ROW, take your business somewhere else.
  • It's a great part of town to visit and soak in the culture.
