  • There's just something about the woods in winter and ice on a pond! This is such a beautiful walk/hike around the pond; about 2 miles. It's relatively flat so an easy/moderate walk and good for dogs. ...  more »

  • Great place for bike rides, but you will climb a steep hill. The road is rough, so be careful coming down. Do hike to the top of the vista trail. You will be rewarded with a view to the west. On a clear day you see into NY and the Catskills, beyond the Hudson River.
  • All these photos are still representing the pond and park as they are today. Nothing's changed. Still a perfect place.
  • Took nice hike around the lake and a section of AT. Great park but costs $10 to park. You can also go boating, fishing, camping, picnicking or relax at the small beach area
  • Great paths and views!
  • Very enjoyable hike around the lake
