Muddy Pond General Store, Monterey

Very cute little store. I always enjoy coming up here. It's a for sure place to bring people that come to visit. There are a lot of neat little options to get here. Some great novelties and more. Upstairs there is a neat collection of wooden toys, boxes, birdhouses, and other neat stuff. I especially love the quilts that they have in there. The Staff has always been friendly and helpful if we ever need to find anything.

Always busy. Has great sandwiches with homemade everything. Staff are beyond fantastic to work with. Prices are even with quality, some I think are high but not to many items. The rest I'd say are alright. Not cheap. Good items for kids. Donughts on Saturday and get there early if you want any rolls. They sell quick !

Great little store. Reminds me of an ole style general store. Good selection of food items such as spices, cereals and candies. They do have some refrigerated items that require a cooler... Up stairs is furniture and house stuff. A very enjoyable time.

Have been going to The General Store for as long as it has been there and it always has a yummy treat. The Green Onion Cheese from the deli is mouth watering and if you have a sweet tooth, try a fried pie. Our service is always friendly and even now that the secret is out and they stay incredibly busy, you can always find what you are craving.

BULK items, spices, Sorghum and suprises! cut deli meat and cheeses... driving the "Mennonite loop" is a great way to spend the afternoon with family or friends. Leather goods, canned goods, vegetables in season..Something for everyone
