  • Really lovely garden especially when azaleas and rhododendrons are in bloom...great for a spring wall with a camera!  more »
  • This is a really nice place to hold small events. The garden area is so relaxing and peaceful. My friends and I did a yoga session in the garden area.  more »
  • Excellent programs, beautiful grounds, fun events. The manor house could use some TLC but the facade is stunning. Guests will only want to visit the gardens anyway, which are free and open most days.  more »
  • beauty where? everywhere! I've visited to practice yoga there, serene, tranquil... you name it, it is there. gorgeous wisteria - woodland type creatures scurrying about and I've only seen a portion of the wide expanse there is... definitely worth a visit
  • A nice relaxing place to walk around. They were just closing when we got there, but we had toke to see the outside gardens which were very pretty.
  • One of my favorite places to vist and enjoy the serenity of the gardens.
  • Today was my first visit to the Van Vleck House & Gardens. I was very impressed with the gardens. There were a lot of flowers in bloom and so peaceful. Definite a great place to tour throughout the year. Open 365 days a year. Free with a parking area. Very peaceful and enjoyable! Will definite return! Make sure you bring a camera to take pictures of all the beautiful flowers and trees!
  • This place is beautiful. I came here with a friend and the scenery is really nice. Be sure to come around late spring and or early summer because that's when the flowers are starting to bloom and you can see all the magic that happens here. The plants are gorgeous. It's peace and quiet if you're into that. It's very calming for me and I would stay around here to read some books and or get my senses back into shape.
