  • We had a nice hike to the Seal Haul Out and the Guide was very knowledgable. Would recommend this to everyone.  more »
  • I was in a solitary evening and cold but recharging your energy here, it is worth at the end of Long Island

  • Great day trip from the city in the winter. The lighthouse is closed. But you can still see it well from the beaches. The nature trails are great and there is a great place for seal watching!
  • Gorgeous views. Recommend the seal hike in the winter
  • Great views and nice trails as well around the area. Very cool looking beach area and there is the lighthouse museum if course. You have to be 40 inches tall to climb the lighthouse stairs. That is the best view in Montauk. There's so much interesting history in Montauk. Parking costs money during the bulk of the hours the park is open.
  • Truly a gorgeous location, spectacular views of the coast, cliffs and the lighthouse, especially at sunrise and sunset. Costs $8 to park at the lot before 4 pm, free after 4 pm or any time for senior citizens with a NYState license. There's a themed playground with shaded picnic tables, a bathroom/comfort station, and convenient fish cleaning stand. There's a gift shop with attached restaurant, and of course there is the lighthouse and museum itself. It's well-preserved and worth the visit to the top (also a fee, unless you visit during one of the few free weekends a year).
  • If you have an opportunity to visit this place, it's an opportunity you can not miss. With so many things to do from fishing, hiking, camping and foraging food to going to town a few minutes away to do horse riding, paddle boarding and riding a jet ski. It's all here. A beautiful, peaceful place few hours from a bustling city of New York.
