  • Eclectic, funky conversion of a riverside mill. A must see if you are in the area. Worth a detour as well.  more »
  • A classic place. Good variety of books, fun cafe adjacent, fine restaurant downstairs and a nice mix of people. Great in all seasons.  more »
  • We stopped here because the pictures online drew us in. It was a neat place to visit, they have a broad selection of books for niche categories like art history, WWII, poetry, etc. We were hoping for ...  more »

  • This place is amazing, magical, peaceful, exciting. And it is a book store? Who woulda' thunk. I am looking forward to my next visit.
  • I ate lunch here. The menu was very small, maybe 8 items only. There was a sauce on everything that had spoiled so the food was inedible. But very nice location, comfortable environment on a stream, good beer selection, friendly staff. Get the drinks not the food.
  • A fun, reasonably priced used bookstore overlooking a river with a cozy coffee shop! Wonderful outdoor seating and comfortable places indoors to catch up on work or skim through whatever gems you find.
  • Some nice places to wander around and get a coffee. Very cute.
  • Great views and tranquility. It's a great afternoon just to lounge about browsing the books. Plus the Alvah Stone has great food and awesome music. The acoustic blues guitarist Eli was amazing!
