Mall is in a state of decay and very few stores left. Doesn't look that safe in the day . So it must really be bad at night. Macys is the only store worth visiting.
Not as great as it once was.store quality not so great. Safety can be an issue at night. many empty store fronts.........
A large indoor mall with Macy's as the flagship store. Remodeled in the last few years as it was getting rough around the edges.
I grew up in Monroeville and have always enjoyed a trip to the mall. Monroeville Mall has grown incredibly over the years and now even include an impressive cinema! Would recommend going here to meet your shopping needs or just to pass some time on your day off. Highly recommend grabbing Insanitee (Bubble tea), while you enjoy all that the mall has to offer.
It's a good mall, there is a lot of empty spaces, but some good stores. It has a good play area for young children with Thomas the train. There is typical mall food choices in the food court. The mall no longer hosts the annual zombie walk, which is disappointing given the malls history. The last iconic feature, the bridge over the fish pond, from Dawn of the dead was sadly removed in 2016.
With malls on a decline, this is one of the few that still have enough trending stores to make it worth visiting. The mall environment is nice and fairly modern while still catering to many different age groups. There are plenty of resturants in the area to enjoy, and with the addition of the movie theater, there is also plenty to do. Recently there has been numerous altercations and fights which have been brought on by school rivalries and social media. This has resulted in increased police presence and yet still more random fights. If these continue, I am not sure what will happen to this mall in years to come.
Well-policed, clean & air-conditioned. Good selection of stores both inside and outside. Very ample parking available.
It's definitely a mall trying to keep the idea of malls alive. It's not the most astounding place, but there are things to do there. Still a viable shopping center.
