  • This Monroe Wisconsin's pride and joy. An historic bar, restaurant and cheese store. Two brothers own this gem and have continued the tradition of showing off their social responsibility and good naturalness by taking a quarter, a tack and a $ bill, tossing them at the ceiling and if it works, the tack hold the bill to the ceiling while the quarter drops back into their hand. The money is collected periodically and donated to a local charity.
  • What an amazing place!! The chili is incredible and I highly recommend it!!! Great atmosphere and have a staff member stick a dollar in the ceiling for you. Donations go to help support the beautiful Monroe Hospice Home.
  • This was a very nice place to visit. Old style swiss bar with old style menu and additional items on a black board above the bar. Had a rib special the day I went which was half bad. I got the half rack but noticed on some bites I got so charcoal bits. But overall really tasty. Only real complaint was the beer I got. Did have many dark beers so I went with a Guinness. It tasted like it was watered down. My advice, stay away from store brands and go with some more local options.
  • The food here is DELICIOUS! I also purchased some cheese and mustard to bring home. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
  • Good chilli, tap beer and a friendly atmosphere. Check out what's on the "break even bottle". Usually some exotic alcohol served at cost. A must for visitors.
