  • This was a fun lunch stop! We both had the ham and Swiss special and a local beer from New Glarus brewing co called Totally Naked. It had a great atmosphere and service.

  • Always a mandatory stop when touring southern Wisconsin. Love the Chili and tried the great smoked Bratwurst. They have home made soup. I tried the Creamy French Onion it was great.

  • Without question the best place for a drink in Monroe. And now with great food! Such a comfy, welcoming atmosphere and staff. Don't forget to donate a $ to the ceiling!
  • Stopped in to try their new menu item of burgers which we've heard so many positive things about. Delicious! Hand formed patties, served with Mrs Mike's potato chips, and several selections of what I call uniquely named beers to go with your meal! Definitely a win! Great service as always!
  • Historic place on the old town square. Very good food (I highly recommend the bread pudding!) and the staff was friendly and helpful. An enjoyable experience.
  • Great selection of sandwiches! All kinds of options from homemade potato salad to local chips, crisp pickles, different breads including gluten free options, different meats from turkey to pastrami. And, of course, cheese...lots of choices for the cheese lover. It is Monroe. The cheese capital!
  • Delicious chili and half sandwich made with dark bread and cheddar cheese. It was toasted. Warm you up on a cold and windy day. The servers were very friendly and helpful. But, make sure you save room for bread pudding, think it was made from cinnamon rolls. Definitely will come back again.
