  • I just love this place. The beach is lovely, and one can see 1000 foot great lakes freighters arriving and departing the coal plant, with a little luck. Lots of picnic tables, facilities are clean and the campsites are large, beach adjacent and have water and electricity. There is a wonderful carry out at the entrance to the park, and even a handful of restaurants up the street, to grab a bite in a rainstorm. This park truly has it ALL!
  • Today/tonight for the fireworks was excellent!!! Family fun. Great DJ, concession stands and all. I didn't like the fact that the women's restroom was locked immediately after the fireworks were done.
  • Who knew this place was only 25 minutes from my place in Livonia? Nice park with beach access. Was there for a Jeep event on a chilly/rainy day. Will have to go back this summer to check it out in better weather.
  • One of the great parks in Michigan. Very clean and there are so many beautiful scenic areas. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
  • My family and I love going to Sterling State park. Fun for all ages. Nice beach, with clean public restrooms. Kids small park with toys and benches. Grills and picnic tables available. Several different walking trails. A boat launch and more.
