  • On our trip to Glacier, we stopped here. We were skeptical about doing the full loop tour, but within 15 minutes, we saw a black bear and a lot of bison and the loop just kept getting better. This was...  more »
  • Such a wonderful opportunity to view the big sky views of Montana with wildlife. You'll see bison, antelope, deer, birds and possibly a rattlesnake. Perfectly safe in your car as you drive through the...  more »
  • Different people will have diametrically opposite views here- all depends on how much wildlife you encounter. We did the short drive and did see some bison but nothing else. From the previous reviews,...  more »

  • Great place to visit. We were staying in white fish to see Glacier national park, but one day was cool and rainy. We were looking around for things to do and the Bison Range was recommended to us. Place was fabulous... great views, you can drive through the whole park. Bring binoculars or telephoto lenses for some great wildlife pics. Our car was quite competitive... each of us trying to spot and snapshot as many animals as possible. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the river. Took most of the day to go through. Drive over to the Range was also nice.
  • Just amazing. Make sure to set aside time to do the walking trails at the top of the mountain, and take the longer driving trail.
  • What a great place. Got some awesome photos of the Bison that move naturally through this habitat.
  • Very cool. First time I went seen 2 bears
  • Wildlife viewing to rival the big name national parks. In several visits we've not experienced rude crowds. The Red Sleep Mountain Drive is a must do. Take a picnic & enjoy at the appropriate place. Most importantly don't rush & do use binoculars, spotting scope & camera liberally.
