  • This is a challenging golf course well outside of Las Vegas. Be prepared for windy conditions, we've been 2 years in a row and it has been windy both times. The staff is attentive and very friendly, a...  more »
  • This course is very tough and not much fun for even a good golfer. Good shots are punished, and you spend forever driving from green to t-box. The staff was also very unhelpful - the practice area and...  more »
  • As is usually the case with Nicklaus courses, expect hazards (traps, waste areas, water) to force you to think through your shots and where to hit the ball. Add to that, few level lies and undulating ...  more »
  • Pretty cool layout. Staff was friendly and helpful. Egg and bacon sandwich is not to be missed. Great practice facilities and comfortable carts. The course appears to be laid out for a north wind. If it's blowing more than 15 from any other direction, good luck. Decent choice of merchandise in the pro shop. I would definitely say worth the drive from Mesquite, and probably worth it from Vegas as well if you are out of options in the city. It's very peaceful since the housing hasn't arrived yet. The 4 stars is because it's a Nicklaus design and he hates people to hit driver or go for par 5s in 2. Also the greens here are quite ridiculous with regard to undulation. Luckily they weren't too fast when we played them, but they were still the hardest part of the course. The greens are bent grass, but they don't check well because there are hardly any flat places on the greens for the ball to land. Go play, but lower your expectations for your score and just enjoy the layout.
  • Loved this course! Very well maintained and the staff was wonderful. Lots of challenging holes and the greens were pretty consistent. Kudos to the ladies in the beverage cart since they always seemed to be there when we needed more refreshments. A bit of a drive from Mesquite but definitely worth it!!!
  • Just stopped by to look at the place. Beautiful location. The starter was a really nice guy; we talked for 20 minutes. Walked into the clubhouse and the two stiffs in there never looked at me. Worst customer service of all time. Jerks.
  • Well worth the trip. High level golf with challenging greens and surrounds. Conditions were excellent with greens running smooth and fast. Fairways had some room, but had strategic positioning. Big driving range and practice green. A true green oasis in the desert.
  • Beautiful course which is very well maintained! Lush fairways and beautiful but difficult greens to navigate around. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only complaint is the lack of yardage markings in the fairways. Had to constantly walk around to find a sprinkler head with a yardage marking on it (not all do). Would be a 5-star rating with yardage markers from 200 yds in..... Will definitely play this course again when opportunity permits......its a hidden gem!!
