  • I should start by saying we didn't do the tour. Maybe that makes it better. But the shop located inside the hole in the rock is full of all sorts of junk which I'm not sure who buys. Cool to see it's ...  more »
  • I barely remember this place. It was all the other rock formations that I remember. It will most likely be on your route to the other scenic adventures on your way through Canyonlands.
  • The ingenuity and fortitude of the early pioneers is amazing! It's very commercial but the history is fascinating!

  • Remembered this place being a bit more magical. It's kindof run down and weird. The tour guide was way too practiced...it came off fake. I should say: or kids loved it. Worth a visit if you have time.
  • Drove by many times and finally decided to stop. Wish I wouldn't have. The owners were extremely rude. We watched them harass the family ahead of us because they had kids and one of the kids tried to take a picture. The lady at the counter called them ignorant and asked if they couldn't read. I have a busy 2 year old and didn't want to take my chances. As we walked out one of the employees followed the other family and continued to harass them, making comments like "glad I'm not traveling with you" as he waved goodbye. The family was very upset and I was appalled on their behalf. Made sure I didn't spend a dime. Won't be stopping there ever again.
  • Super cool. I would never have the patience but they blew the holes and made a home. I really enjoyed seeing it and all the cool fun things on the outside.
  • great place great people can't wait to return
  • Cheezy gift shop, yet classic American roadside attraction. The zoo across the parking lot seems like a place where the animals might not be happy.
