Explore the dramatic landscape of Arches National Park, known for the highest density of natural arches in the world. Stop at the visitor center to learn more about the origin of these colorful geological formations and to replenish your water supplies. The red-rock wonderland of nearly 2,000 stone arches, soaring pinnacles, and massive balanced rocks is especially inspiring at dawn and dusk. Some locations within the park cannot be visited without a ranger, so reserve your spot on the tour on time. Most tourists limit their visit to just driving through the park, but the more adventurous can also choose to hike, cycle, backpack, or camp. Arches National Park reviews
We loved our day in Arches NP. We hiked, drove on all the roads to sightsee, stopped at all the viewpoints, and enjoyed lunch at a picnic table by Delicate Arch. A few of the arches are close to the..... more »
Now one of my favorite national parks! Easy to find viewing points and trailheads. I found the formations to be incredibly beautiful and a little imagination can make you see familiar silhouettes... more »
Should be on everyone's bucket list. Amazing views, stunning rock formations including lots of arches and columns. Several areas for hiking. Quite busy park, so may have issues finding parking at.... more »
One of my new favorite national parks! There aren’t as many hiking trails as many others but the geology is breath taking. It’s very accessible and we’ll certainly be back next time we’re in the area!
It's REALLY nice to just walk around for a little while, I wouldn't call it a hike though (But hey that is probably what most people want). It can get a little crowded but you should always be able to take good pictures without anybody on them, but you might have to walk a few meters more than others
The view brought me to tears! Absolutely stunning! It does get hot walking up to it so start early, drink plenty of water and enjoy God's masterpiece!
Wonderful. Numerous pull outs for picture taking. Roads well marked. Easy access to most features. A few require a hike. Most trails are not handicapped accessible.
The Arches National Park was breathtaking. The accessible trails get you right up to them. Our girls enjoyed obtaining the Junior Ranger badge. The Visitor Center offers clean restrooms, gift shop, and exhibits. Highly recommend!
