  • Learn about elk in the Montana area. The hands on exhibits are great for kids and adults alike. The mounts they have are amazing! A nice gift shop is on-site as well. Free to the public.
  • This is a MUST GO TO place when you visit the Missoula Montana area. You get to see some real Boone & Crockett head mounts of some great trophy elk and you can see a mountain lion, beaver, skunk, birds of prey, beaver, dear, moose and on and on. Yes they are stuffed (taxidermy head mounts) but you get to see them up close and personal. Great gift shop, great employees and there's a free theater where they show nature shows and hunting techniques. For someone who isn't able to get up close and personal it's a great place.
  • From a member! THANK YOU ALL! TEAM ELK!
  • Awesome place to see amazing elk
  • We attended a few years ago with are kids and had a great time! We are planning another trip this year!
  • Your organization has done a great job on the Elk population. When people visit out west or where Elk are located they should keep in mind that this is mostly in part of the RMEF and should be supporters of this great group. I am from Missouri but I visit out west two or three times a year and love to see these animals in there environment. Not only are you protecting or preserving the habitat for the Elk, there are a number of other animals and streams that benefit from this. The US people should understand this and help with any efforts they can to keep this going. This is something we can hand down to generations to come and something RMEF should be very proud of.
