  • Awesome taxidermy displays. Very educational place to take a family of all ages. Self guided, so you can take as little or as much time as you want. Fun place to take pictures & selfies!  more »
  • I went a few years ago with a large group of linemen and we all enjoyed seeing the displays. The educational information concerning the RMEF was very enjoyable and entertaining.  more »

  • This is a MUST GO TO place when you visit the Missoula Montana area. You get to see some real Boone & Crockett head mounts of some great trophy elk and you can see a mountain lion, beaver, skunk, birds of prey, beaver, dear, moose and on and on. Yes they are stuffed (taxidermy head mounts) but you get to see them up close and personal. Great gift shop, great employees and there's a free theater where they show nature shows and hunting techniques. For someone who isn't able to get up close and personal it's a great place.
  • Everyone in the visitor center was very helpful and informative, willing to explain the displays and talk about local conservation efforts. Also, the hall of fame of elk mounts was exciting to walk through
