  • The galleries are always changing, there is always something new, but you have to like art. I really loved the Ansel Adams showing, when it was here. It is a really nice space and generally has a good flow through the displays. Bonus: It is free, they do accept donations.
  • The pinnacle venue for First Fridays. Visit this place at least once a month.
  • Everyone is so friendly and helpful, while allowing quiet time for appreciating the works of art. There is always something to learn while visiting the MAM.
  • Free. Rad art.
  • Beautiful, unique, and varied artwork is housed in a beautiful, unique, and varied building with a donation-based admission that makes it accessible to all. There's always something unique and unusual on display, and although the artists usually aren't world famous they're certainly well-respected and usually very important to the area. You can spend a good hour or two admiring the artwork, and the museum is definitely worth checking out. Modern facilities and a small gift shop, as well as classrooms for school and community classes and events add to the flair.
