  • We stopped on a cold winter day to let the kids ride the carousel prior to taking a 3 hour road trip. The carousel is located inside a small building with many beautiful horses to choose from. The cos...  more »
  • The kids just love going here. A large play ground right next to it with a huge castle for them to run around in and climb.  more »

  • This Carousel is the best one I have ever ridden. I was able to ride it with my 1 year old and he loved it. It goes faster than your typical carousel speed but I thought that made it more fun. They have a dragon you can pull rings from while you ride it's a fun game and if you get the bronze one then you get a free ride! Overall wonderful place for families and children!
  • Lovely if rickety ride on a carousel - great community project that says a lot about Missoula's commitment to arts and families. Really interesting to read about the history and development of the carousel. Fun for kids to have a chance to catch the brass ring! The horses themselves seem a bit rickety, but every passenger is belted in for safety.
  • Really beautiful place. It was pretty empty when I went, but that's not a bad thing.
  • The dragon with the rings you try to grab while riding around makes this a unique carousel experience. Very cool, and if you get the gold ring, free ride!
  • Great time for the little ones. Its a classic carousel with a "ring grab" where if you choose the correct ring on the way around you received a free ride which happened to us about 4 times. It was a blast for all!
