Trip Planner:   USA  /  Minnesota  /  Minneapolis  /  Target Field

Target Field, Minneapolis

4.7
Home of the Minnesota Twins, ESPN ranked Target Field the number one baseball stadium experience in America. View a game from the Budweiser roof deck, where the only bonfire in the major league exists. Consider trying the Jucy Lucy burger at the Town Ball Tavern on the upper concourse. Many of the concessions are served on a stick, with the exceptions of Minnesota favorites, such as walleye and wild rice soup. Consider enjoying a cold drink at Twins Pub, the only indoor bar with a view over the field. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Minneapolis holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Target Field and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Even if you're not a baseball fan, come visit this stadium for the sites, food, and drink. Lots of places to stand in and out of the sun or rain, depending on the time of year and weather, and ample f...  more »
  • I’m slowly getting to all ballparks in the majors, so I’ve seen some good, some historic, and some so-so. This qualifies as part of the good, with a nice viewing experience, friendly crowd, and ample ...  more »

  • Is there a better stadium for having a good time (even when the team traditionally isn't that good?) in Minnesota? Yes, US Bank Stadium is fantastic, however it doesn't match the intimacy of Target Field. With the massive food selection, abundance of locally brewed craft beers, and overall cool vibe of being down town Minneapolis watching baseball on a summer night, you can't beat the experience. And it appears we have team that is committed to getting better.
  • I was here a few years ago, its a great new stadium in MN. i have no real issues with this stadium. I'm not a twins fan but I do love a great baseball park and this one has all the amenities you would want and need. The food options aren't half bad either. take the family or yourself for a game, you won't regret it.
  • Best ballpark to watch an outdoor game at. I've sat all over the park and there really isn't a bad seat. Pricing is good too. Great selection of food and an awesome atmosphere.
  • A fabulous ballpark with surprising good food choices. Indian food at a ballgame? Seems unorthodox but was delicious! If you're a first time fan, stop by to pick up a mini poster that celebrates your first time to the ballpark. Very cool thing particularly for younger children.
  • One of the best ball parks in America. Jump right off the green line and into a seat. Don’t forgot to grab some of the best stadium food of any sports complex in between.

Where to stay in Minneapolis

To stay in the thick of tourist action, choose a hotel in downtown Minneapolis. This area offers many independent and chain hotels, with rooms that range from budget-friendly to high-end. You can also stay close to the area by exploring mid-range hotels just a few blocks from downtown that are set in quieter neighborhoods with fewer tourists. If you have access to a car and don't mind driving to most major attractions, you can consider a good value motel or inn just outside the city.
