Target Field, Minneapolis

Categories: Fun & Games, Sports Complexes
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web
Home of the Minnesota Twins, ESPN ranked Target Field the number one baseball stadium experience in America. View a game from the Budweiser roof deck, where the only bonfire in the major league exists. Consider trying the Jucy Lucy burger at the Town Ball Tavern on the upper concourse. Many of the concessions are served on a stick, with the exceptions of Minnesota favorites, such as walleye and wild rice soup. Consider enjoying a cold drink at Twins Pub, the only indoor bar with a view over the field. A visit to Target Field represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Minneapolis tourist route planner to plot your vacation.

  • I absolutely love this stadium. So much technology being used here and so many different things going on. They have utilized spaces here that other stadiums do not. On top of a great place to watch a ...  read more »

  • Went to watch my Indians take on the twins! Everyone was so friendly and nice! There just wasn't much to do at the stadium! It started raining and 95% of the left because of delays. The staff let us move up right behind home plate! Thanks for the great experience!
  • A beautiful stadium with excellent site lines all around, literally not a bad seat in the house. Great view of beautiful downtown Minneapolis. Staff are all very friendly, which is typical for almost all the Minnesotans I met. Target Field is in the top five best stadiums in the major leagues in my opinion, and I have been to all of the current 30 ballparks. Very good food selection, however it is a bit on the high price end. The tickets prices are very reasonable though.
  • "It's Okay". The park isn't bad, but it is ugly. They chose some weird tan stone for all the accent, including the lid and steps of the dugouts. It's like when you are house shopping and you see the master bathroom and, mentally, you add the price of a complete remodel to the price of the house. It is ugly. We lucked in to tickets in 2 decent sections. The Legends Club behind home plate is great. It's where they keep the memorabilia in glass cases. Great for National League fans visiting to be reminded that the Twins have a history beyond the Puckett era. Also, the center field Catch area is quite nice, especially for a matinee/Sunday game. All inclusive food & drinks (including beer/wine) for the whole game. I got hammered. The view if the game kind of sucks, buts it's cool and relaxing. Don't get Standing Room Only tickets in Catch unless you plan on showing up realty early. There are only 6 or 8 cocktail-height tables, we got the last one 20 minutes before first pitch. So, yes, it's a stadium where baseball games are played. Nothing big, fancy, or nice. They hit a budget on tiles and Lowe's had a sale that weekend. All said, it's as humble as the home team.
  • Arguably the finest ballpark in the nation as of 2016. A shame the same cant be said for the team itself. There are a slew of amenities with dining options for the gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and carnivore. Beer selection galore, and scenic views for days.
  • My father and I have the Flex 40 Season Ticket package. We have had this season ticket package for over 10 years and have loved it since the beginning. Target Field has a great staff working for them. From the ushers to the servers ending with the cleaning staff and grounds crew. They also have a lot of things going on every step around inside the park. What a great place to spend quite a few days!
