Where to stay in Minneapolis

To stay in the thick of tourist action, choose a hotel in downtown Minneapolis. This area offers many independent and chain hotels, with rooms that range from budget-friendly to high-end. You can also stay close to the area by exploring mid-range hotels just a few blocks from downtown that are set in quieter neighborhoods with fewer tourists. If you have access to a car and don't mind driving to most major attractions, you can consider a good value motel or inn just outside the city.

  • I went there for the Red Hot Chili Peppers show back in January 2017 and in terms of parking, logistics and venue I had an overall very good experience. It is very easy to get to and easy to navigate ...  more »

  • The people who work here are nice and will go out of their way to make people happy. The Target Center is outdated compared to the newer sport arenas is the area. It is good they are updating it this summer. I am excited to see the results. Who knows, I could change this to 5 stars then.
  • Very nice and clean. This is a well kept facility and the workers and security guards are very attentive.
  • Will keep you in the venue buying drinks and making them profit just to be told the artist will not be performing. If a performer cancels twice and both times the venue makes money it's robbery to not give the money back. Don't even want to go to a wolves game ever again after my experience.
  • For basketball games, this is a very fan friendly arena. There are no unexpected bad seats like some arenas. Upper level behind backboard can be annoying. Bring your college ID and Wednesday games are $10. Some years they add Mondays too.
  • Overall a decent arena. The company they hired to do security sucked though. Wouldn't let my friend in with a backpack but let a girl in with hers, when asked why the security lady replied "it's a woman's bag not a backpack". It was clearly a backpack.
