  • I am, in no way, a fan of downtown Minneapolis. However, for this trip, we came downtown in the evening, on a Saturday, to watch a show at the Dakota Jazz Club. We parked in the Target Center ramp, just a half block from the Dakota. This is key, because I'm disabled and cannot walk more than a hundred or so feet without sitting down. I also cannot negotiate stairs. As it turned out, I only had to sit and rest once each way, and there were no stairs, the bulk of which I am very grateful for. It was a wonderful experience all around. The parking, while not free, was convenient and abundant. We enjoyed our time on the mall that night. Highly recommended!
  • Most things that relate are grouped within the same area but the directory isn't noticeable enough in my opinion to know where to find what you're looking for. Most of what I searched for was plainly seen but I had no idea about the other resturaunts that seemed a bit hidden. That could be a good thing in the fact that searching is fun. Altogether nice experience though.
  • Can't wait for construction to be done. Hopefully we don't lose any more restaurants in the meantime. However, there's still a few awesome places to have dinner on a patio and to enjoy the best people watching available in Minneapolis. Check out Barrio, The Local, McCormick and Schmick's or The Newsroom.
  • Nice place to go walking around or even doing light shopping or if you simply love being around hustle and bustle of the city. Only downside... Malls are starting to go extinct in many places. Online shopping is booming and therefore if businesses are not bringing in revenue then doors will close and unfortunately that is what is happening to many Nicollete malls... The future? I have no idea 😑
  • ☢ ATTENTION🚫ATTENTION☢ It's A Great Place to take walks, sight seeing, shopping, eating, and to hanging out, however It Is "⚠UNDER ⚠CONSTRUCTION⚠" at this time until further notice. I will keep it and you updated until it is finished. "Not REALLY a place to Ride Bikes, it tends to be "A VERY VERY BUSY" Street - *ALOT of PEDESTRIANS, STROLLERS, and When it is "NOT" Under Construction It "IS A Major Street for PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION and STAND-BYERS" ! ! !
