  • Leaves changing in the fall,a winter frozen sheet of ice or a beautiful summer walk. You can visit anytime of the year
  • I had the chance to visit during February, one of the colder months of winter, the Park is very charming, handsome and charming, and during the winter is pretty much with everything frozen, including the waterfall which is a natural work of art! the photos are beautiful, just be careful when you walk, the entire region is very slippery (very!) and you can get hurt very easily since it is an area of very rugged relief.

  • Hike the waterfall paths, climb on the rocks, overlook the rushing water, rent bikes, have a picnic, play frisbee, hike down the path to the Mississippi river, visit the lock and dam - so much to do, ...  more »

  • Great waterfall. Unfortunately I could not get close enough because I had a stroller with little children. Only stairs to get to the bottom. They should look at doing ramps to atleast half way of the waterfall for those with strollers or even wheelchairs!! Interesting history pieces there as well. Restaurant looked pretty good...unfortunately I could not try it as it is all seafood no other options and i am allergic.
  • It's a very good scenic place with lots of landscapes. The trekking track is too good. One have to this track until the end where the falls water meets the river.
  • One of the many prides of Minneapolis. Well within walking and biking distance from my home, the falls bring international visitors to my backyard. The recent major investments in its upkeep have helped restore our pride n this venerable park. But it is still just one of many park jewels im Minneapolis crown.
  • Nice place for a hike while in the cities. At first I was worried because it seemed packed but as you got further back it was quieter and more peaceful. Beautiful waterfall
  • Wonderful place to visit with waterfall, stream, a nice (Sea Salt) restaurant with a wide selection of local beers and fresh food. I love their fried fish basket. It is delicious with fresh melon and coleslaw....Delish...You can rent bicycle buggies for lack of a better name. Pedal yourself and up to three more people to fitness. Nice trails meander along a lovely stream. If warm enough, you and your children can take a splash on a small shallow area designated for taking a dip.
