  • It's art, it's free, you'll love it. I especially enjoy the third Thursday events. Mia also has one of the best libraries in the Twin Cities, and their librarians are wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful. Come back often!

  • Amazing! We just visited the temporary Martin Luther: Art and the Reformation Exhibit. Wonderful atmosphere and huge space. We will have to come back. You need at least a full day to go through it all.
  • Truly a gem, the Minneapolis Institute of Art is a wonderful place to see great works of art and sculpture, and to do so free of charge. You'll see work by El Greco, Picasso, Van Gogh, and more. They have wonderful period rooms that our children enjoy, and the artwork does change, so you see something new every time you go.
