  • Free entrance is always appreciated. Parking is easy to find in a lot but be aware you pay for parking by how long you stay. Always plenty to explore and a lot of knowledgeable staff. You'll get the most out of your visit with a guided tour but it's also fun to explore on your own. It's easy to get pleasantly lost in the different rooms and exhibits. A must-see if you are visiting the area.
  • It's such a lovely and rich area with wonderful historical information about various human civilizations over the world. It offers an opportunity to learn about human life from the early ages to the present under one roof. The place is just amazing and lovely. Having studied history in my campus I really enjoyed everything in there.. Looking forward to be back once again.... Cheers guys
  • We loved this museum. It was our first visit and it was a perfect place to spend an afternoon. For a free museum it offers a lot with three floors for your visual enjoyment. We spent about 3 hours. Parking was available on the street to the side and in front of the museum. It was a Friday afternoon so I'm not sure if that changes by day/time. I know we missed some areas and look forward to going back.
  • Fun museum with great variety. There is a suggested donation box as you walk in, so it can end up being an inexpensive way to take in some art. I can't choose one shining example of a reason to come here - everything is wonderful. I've been here twice and still have only taken in a fraction of their galleries and displays. Only downside is the layout can be a bit hard to navigate smoothly at times, but was a great place to get turned around!!
  • I've always been a fan of the MIA, and the collections they have are truly impressive. I'm particularly a fan of their Tibetan and Indian art, and their permanent Tibetan sand Mandala is truly beautiful. Their modern design collection is also quite wonderful as well. Also, I'm not sure how he did it, but a professor I had in undergrad set up a Private viewing of their modem Soviet print collection, which was one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
