  • The IDS Center, built in the 1970s, was the first skyscraper built in Minneapolis, and gave the otherwise drab, unremarkable downtown something new: a skyline. It is still the tallest building in the city (50 floors), and the tallest high-rise towers that now surround the IDS have deferentially limited their height to at least a couple feet shorter than the city's tallest building. The Crystal Court's enclosed public square is an amazing feat of architecture; recently, the busy two-level concourse seems to have lost a majority of its retail tenants in a sudden exodus early in 2017, which has created a bit of hollowness for those of us who walk through the space regularly.
  • The interior is beautifully designed and there is a variety of different shops and banks. And lots of signage directing you along the halls. It could use more bathrooms that are located closer together though.
  • What a cool building to go through lots of great business work in this building but easy of finding even for 50+ floors. Great views from almost all offices really over sees downtown area & beyond love working out at building can't wait for Nicollet to get finished. Inside view from above worth just walking in & taken a look around donuts on lower level in center area big great & fresh every day
  • The fountain at the Crystal Court is one of the most peaceful spots in the city.
  • 50 floor, Windows on Minneapolis is a great venue. Food from Basil's restaurant is very good. Convenient underground parking.
