Where to stay in Minneapolis

To stay in the thick of tourist action, choose a hotel in downtown Minneapolis. This area offers many independent and chain hotels, with rooms that range from budget-friendly to high-end. You can also stay close to the area by exploring mid-range hotels just a few blocks from downtown that are set in quieter neighborhoods with fewer tourists. If you have access to a car and don't mind driving to most major attractions, you can consider a good value motel or inn just outside the city.

  • Wonderful brewery with delicious beer and great staff. Large patio with picnic tables. The brewery does not serve food, but there is usually (maybe always) a food truck out front of you're hungry. It ...  more »
  • If you want a relaxed brewery, Fulton is great! My husband and I met up with another couple- I'm not a beer drinker and I actually found 1 I really liked! Very relaxed and cool lit-up outdoor space  more »
  • If I lived here I wouldn't want to give a review to try to keep this place to myself! Hands down the best beer quality of our beer-cation in Minneapolis this past week. Fulton is a small taproom with ...  more »

  • I've visited many breweries, and this place is definitely worth a revisit. I like their selection of beers, and their Stout is fantastic! I wish they had Growlers of the stuff for sale! ...but they don't. Indoors and Outdoors have ample space and overall the place has a good casual atmosphere. Customer service is good too. I didn't visit when they had live music or food trucks available, but the beer alone will have me coming back.
  • One of the longer standing breweries in the Cities. New venue is very nice. Solid range beer selection so you can find something you will like. They have a few collaborations on typically which are fun to try. Good TV placement to watch any games you may be tracking. Though they have their standards that you can find all over city, their more artisan brews are always available at home site. Make a stop and enjoy a pint...or two
  • Right down the road from where I work. Love the sweet child of vine. Food trucks always around and a good atmosphere.
  • Definitely the largest selection of the neighborhood breweries. This place is always popular with locals and travelers alike. Food trucks are brought in for the evenings. They bring a different food truck every day. I have never seen the same food truck there more than once a week, maybe month. This is a definite stop if you find yourself in the North Loop.
  • Love the beer, the location and the atmosphere. Lonely Blonde and Extra! Extra! are my favorites.
