  • Market, not as big, but clean and cosy. The lobster sandwich is a must, generous portion and very tasty!

  • While the concept of the market is great, it's just too crowded to fully appreciate it. We were there on a Saturday and tried again on a Sunday in October. Both days it was so crowded that you could b...  read more »
  • What a fun spot to explore! There were endless things to look at and so many fun choices for food and drink. I wish we would have had even more time!!!!
  • Love this place! Such an adorable go-to if you have friends in town and want to show them a typical day. The staff at each booth are friendly and courteous and are willing to help if you have questions. The prices can sometimes be high, but because everything is fresh and high quality, it's worth the price. I highly suggest the cheese, wine, and dessert stations, along with the Green Kitchen for a freshly-made juice.
  • Parking was tough, compact car is a must. Atmosphere was great. Many people from all over the world buying food. I ate the seafood restaurant on the southeast side. The blue marlin grilled was to die for. Of course its the best deal for a lobster dinner. One of the two drinks not prepared correctly.
  • The Milwaukee Public Market is a historic Marketplace that has now been converted into a fancy restaurant and specialty food shopping area. There are no groceries or Farmers Market type thing here. There are very nice eating establishments with lovely old-time atmosphere. We just had a group dinner upstairs here and this facility was absolutely fabulous for a group dining event! The acoustics are decent and the views are wonderful all around this place. The historic district that this is located in is a nice part of town that is being gentrified with lots of restaurants also.
  • This place is worth a trip to Milwaukee by itself!! The food here is amazing! Try out the pastries from the bakery and pizza from the pizza shop. The shops in here are amazing and if your in the area u need to go to the public market! Great for breakfast lunch and dinner!!
  • I LOVE the market! I am so glad Milwaukee has made a successful go of it. I don't think I've been disappointed yet with a purchase, and the variety of shops would allow you to eat there a LOT and never worry about getting tired of the same food. My gems are the brookie/brownie cookie from C. Adams (get a peanut butter cookie and sandwich them together!), the lobster roll from St. Paul's Seafood, and really any pairing from Thief Wine and West Allis Cheese & Sausage.
