  • Milwaukee’s market may look small but it has a lot to offer. From chocolates to meet to coffee to spices to art middle eastern food and vegan it has it all. Great K Pl. to come and spend the afternoon. There is definitely a little something here for everybody. Lots of vegan options lots of carnivore options. Can have a beer or wine at the green kitchen or at the bar and walk right across the walkway to have a falafel or a totally vegan meal. If you are in the Milwaukee area spend a couple hours here definitely
  • If you are just visiting Milwaukee this is a place to put on your must-visit list. It is exciting just walking around much less visiting all the shops. Everyone in the group will find something they want to eat in this place. Don't let the busy atmosphere overwhelm you, get your food and head upstairs where does a bit quieter and you can eat
  • The Milwaukee Public Market is a great spot to check out of you are visiting the city. There are many small shops inside and great lunch options. Think of it like a mall with a food court (except it is a place you actually want to be!). A great place to kill some time while you are waiting for a table at one of the awesome nearby restaurants.
  • There's so much to do! They have so many different stands, and bars, and food its truly incredible! Extremely easy to get to right off the I, and there's TONS of parking! They have fresh seafood, sushi, and on the weekends they have donuts that are just too die for! The wine bar though is a must for any wine fan!
  • Awesome market. As travelers coming from Chicago, my whole group and I were super impressed with the cheap prices. Truffle Avocado Toast - $4.50 (On The Bus) Fried Cheese Curds - $6.50 (West Allis Cheese) Another honorable mention goes to Anodyne coffee for a bomb cappuccino and slice of chocolate cake.

Staying in the city center puts you right in the heart of the activity, and means you can take advantage of all the things to do in Milwaukee’s walkable downtown area. Options here include big chain hotels as well as quirky inns. Party animals should sacrifice some sleep to stay close to Milwaukee’s lively bar scene, centered around Water Street.
