  • Great scenery along the lake! my favorite place for cardio (run/walk). It is great for biking too. The views indeed are spectacular.  more »
  • In summer unfortunately with the ever-present mosquito repellent / mosquito theme, i.e. a relaxed stroll is possible during this time of year only with mosquito Defense (so in the summer and in still air the bug spray do not forget). Otherwise: small park offering a Lakeside walk or to settle on one of the numerous benches. There are sufficient parking facilities - free can be parked in Erie Street in direction East (if no major events at the Festival take place).

  • Wonderful outdoors area in the middle of the city!
  • Fantastic views of the city and wide, winding sidewalks that meander through the park. The park is a great scenic route connecting downtown to the Summerfest grounds. You can see some great sunsets behind the city skyline from here!
  • This place is beautiful and I have been taking my son on morning walks before summer camp at discovery world! Great way to spend some time with nature in milwaukee!
  • Very picturesque. If could silence the highway would be a 5. Definitely worth it to visit.
  • Very nice shoreline trail, just east of the festival grounds, on reclaimed land. The park connects to the lakefront via a bridge on the north end. There is some parking at the south end. The trail loops around, with a beach, prairie land and revetments on view. The skyline views are quite good. There are minimal seating areas. A nice getaway feel right in downtown Milwaukee.
