Where to stay in Milwaukee

Staying in the city center puts you right in the heart of the activity, and means you can take advantage of all the things to do in Milwaukee’s walkable downtown area. Options here include big chain hotels as well as quirky inns. Party animals should sacrifice some sleep to stay close to Milwaukee’s lively bar scene, centered around Water Street. Those who want a little more rest should consider a scenic resort in the greater Milwaukee area; many of these are within easy driving distance of the main attractions.

  • We saw Tears for Fears and Hall & Oates here this past weekend. The building is definitely older. Think Allstate Arena vs United Center. We sat in the 400 level. The sound was not good. Legroom is non...  more »
  • There isn't anything spectacular about the BMO Harris Center, but that doesn't mean it's not good. It reminds me of a lot of other sports venues I've been to. It's large, has typical sports venue food...  more »

  • The center itself was fine, not super clean but it's a huge venue. Biggest drawback is parking we parked in a structure($20 to park there by the way) and apparently 300 cars at $20 a pop is not enough to afford a little security. My wife and I came back from a concert to find our car broken into and ransacked, fortunately we had nothing of value in the car, but frustrating anyhow.
  • Ivy is a guy that doesn't think twice about happen or give a happen to others. His kids are like him and we lost his loving daughter and we know that this taking a lot out of him. He the man I look up to he's number one in my book out of any thing he may have done in his life he made it right. I respect him for that.
  • I learnt a great deal about not only the history of Harley-Davidson, but motorbikes in general. An excellent single theme museum. Well worth the time and entry fee. If you live in or are visiting Milwaukee and have a couple of hours to spare, this is a great place to spend them. Highly recommended!
  • The Soul to Soul was great! The view was good. The seats are the worst. No leg room at all. I'll never go back there.
  • The good ol' Bradley Center. Been there many times for conventions, indoor motorcycle racing, sports, and other events. Parking is nearby and usually, if you are willing to look hard enough, is reasonable. This place brings many years of memories to mind. And it is absolutely huge.
