  • We did not view the glassmaking since we have seen it done many times before. We did go through the showroom and view the lovely glassware designs. This place is just a quick few minutes off the inter...  read more »
  • Very unique place you need to experience. Not commercialized at all and they want to share what they do with the public. Not many attractions like this place left in the USA .
  • I was coming back from visiting Huntington and saw the sign for the glass factory, I'd seen it on trip advisor and thought it looked interesting so decided to pop in. It was 4pm so they weren't glass ...  read more »
  • After watching the documentary on PBS about Blenko I realized what a special gem we have in the region. The glass colors are stunning. I have a dark green canister setting in my kitchen window because I love how the sun shines thru the glass in the morning. Many of my glass pieces are functional and used daily. I was surprised too when I learned that Blenko made the historic glass replicas for Colonial Williamsburg! Beautiful art!
  • Went to watch the glass blowers, and stayed for the first annual garden party. Dean was a great host, and the food/entertainment was very classy. The glassware is gorgeous and skillfully unique. Will be there for West Virginia Day!
  • Amazingly beautiful glass - DEFINITELY worth a stop when traveling on I-64 through WV. Check their calendar online for dates when they are making the glass if you want to watch the process in action, otherwise, the gift shop is open daily. There are so many pretty pieces, it is hard to choose!
  • Cool observation area, its a bit like a trip to the zoo where you hope the animals aren't sleeping when you're there. Avoid lunch time break from 1200 to 100, they're much more active before and after.
  • Definitely one of the jewels of WV. I was told recently that they even have a field of broken glass you can look out on. I didn't. But soon I will!
