  • If you like the experience of seeing a real factory at work, then Blenko is a great stop. The people making glass objects are at work. No show is put on for visitors -- you see the real operation in a...  more »
  • We loved watching them make the glass. It is a unique way to spend the afternoon. We bought a beautiful bowl and i think of the place often. Be careful with your children this is a glass place.
  • If you like blown glass, this is a very good place to visit. The visitor center was filled with the most beautiful vases, places, pitchers, novelties and decorations. The work area also can be visited...  more »

  • After watching the documentary on PBS about Blenko I realized what a special gem we have in the region. The glass colors are stunning. I have a dark green canister setting in my kitchen window because I love how the sun shines thru the glass in the morning. Many of my glass pieces are functional and used daily. I was surprised too when I learned that Blenko made the historic glass replicas for Colonial Williamsburg! Beautiful art!
  • Amazingly beautiful glass - DEFINITELY worth a stop when traveling on I-64 through WV. Check their calendar online for dates when they are making the glass if you want to watch the process in action, otherwise, the gift shop is open daily. There are so many pretty pieces, it is hard to choose!
  • Went to watch the glass blowers, and stayed for the first annual garden party. Dean was a great host, and the food/entertainment was very classy. The glassware is gorgeous and skillfully unique. Will be there for West Virginia Day!
  • Very cool place, enjoy the glass blowing demonstrating.
  • Great experience! It's a working factory, so try not to come on the lunch hour of you want to see them blowing glass.
