  • This river is rated 5th cleanest in the nation! We boat and swim in this river and love it. If you visit, please help keep it clean.
  • We took the boat up the Blackwater River to the sandbar areas. It was a beautiful ride in an area lush with vegetation.
  • Spend the day away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You can rent a canoe or kayak and pick either an hour or several cruising with the current. Transportation is provided from a parking area to where your adventure begins. After your journey has finished, transportation is provided back to your vehicle.
  • Lovely, quiet, freshwater beaches. Perfect for a little family time away from the hussle and bussle of pcola beaches. Not a single piece of trash on the beach. Clean, well kept pavillions and outdoor showering areas are a great plus!
  • This is practically in our backyard. Florida has so many fresh water rivers and creeks. This is my favorite. Tubing or just swimming off one of the prestine white beaches, it's a great place to take the family for a day or an extended stay of camping. The Rangers are so nice.
  • I love this river, I come here to swim, canoe, tube and kayak many times every summer. The water is clear of garbage and trees The white sand beaches are amazing and fun to stop and have lunch, hang out or whatever. I am so happy I live so close to this river. The pavilions are very nice also, they are roomy and are clean. The bathrooms are also clean as well.
  • Beautiful river and always a fun place for our family outings. We love paddling our kayaks on river and stopping on the various white sand beaches for a rest and a little swim.
