  • Take a picnic lunch and explore the trails. The nature center was average but one of the workers was feeding a turtle so that was cool. They have pond where you could feed the fish. Yep its 10 dollars...  read more »
  • There is a golf course, boat launch and rentals, fishing, hiking, bicycling, swimming, picnicking, and the working farm where the kids can see animals up close! And, often times there are baby animals...  read more »
  • Miles of trails and peace and quiet and well maintained paths crisscross the park - the lakes are beautiful and the biodiversity is excellent!
  • One of the most beautiful park I've ever been to. Beautiful weather, beautiful scenery, well kept and tidy. Nice boating experience, fishing, nature trails. Do go for the nature trails, lots of chipmunks and cranes with the occasional squirrels hunting for food.
  • This weekend my grandchildren ages 10 & 8 visited Kensington, spending a great deal of time at the Historical Village behind the farm. They were thoroughly engaged in the reinactment. The enactors interacted with the kids, asked questions, answered questions and pulled both of them into a time of life so very long ago. Thank you for providing this experience for us. I've always felt Kensington offered a 5 star experience; this experience and memory bumped it up!
  • Beautiful park, and trails. The beaches are nice, but unfortunately the moslems took it over. The beach was full of moslems. They are loud, they stink, they play loud music and smoke hookah. They give Americans dirty looks, and they don't pick up their trash . These parasites will destroy this beautiful park.
  • Large park around a uniquely shaped lake with many activities and paths to travel on. Boat, canoe, kayak, peddle and paddle boards available to rent by the hour with several small islands to travel to. Small parks with playgrounds and pavilions in certain areas in the park. Mildly populated enough to where birds are familiarize enough where some will land on your finger if your patient and some chipmunks will even come up to you. Fishing is also available in certain areas. Also many wooden benches and picnic tables surround the lake.
  • It's absolutely beautiful. It's a nice place to get away for a day, walk around or even bike around the lake. Relax by the beach and catch some nice little waves. You can also rent paddle boats, row boats, and kayaks by the hour and it's all reasonably priced. Great metropark.
