  • Instead of the paved trails, I took Wildwing around the lake. Very nice, quiet and sometimes hard to find the trail for all the leaves. There were some solo men walking too, which makes me a bit nervo...  more »

  • Had a very relaxing time with family taking a wonderful stroll this park. The wild life, trees, lakes, picnic area, other are second to now. A must do!

  • Beautiful park, endless amenities, great staff, very well kept and clean. I highly recommend this park! The fishing is excellent: Large mouth bass, all the pike you can catch, occasional muskie, perch, bluegill, etc...We caught some very nice fish here...all from kayaks (we brought our own kayaks, but they rent them here...very reasonably, fishing boats and paddle boats too). The whole lake is a no wake zone, so you can fish without much interruption...and most importantly of all: NO WAVE RUNNERS! Peaceful fishing most of the time. It is just as nice to kayak around the lake. You get an occasional noisy group that will rudely interrupt your fishing, and act like they own the whole lake, but you will have that anywhere...less of them here. All in all, a great experience.
  • This weekend my grandchildren ages 10 & 8 visited Kensington, spending a great deal of time at the Historical Village behind the farm. They were thoroughly engaged in the reinactment. The enactors interacted with the kids, asked questions, answered questions and pulled both of them into a time of life so very long ago. Thank you for providing this experience for us. I've always felt Kensington offered a 5 star experience; this experience and memory bumped it up!
  • An eight mile loop around the lake makes for a fun walk or a great run! Go hang out on the beaches or bring your water vehicles this park won't disappoint!
  • Beautiful park, and trails. The beaches are nice, but unfortunately the moslems took it over. The beach was full of moslems. They are loud, they stink, they play loud music and smoke hookah. They give Americans dirty looks, and they don't pick up their trash . These parasites will destroy this beautiful park.
  • It's absolutely beautiful. It's a nice place to get away for a day, walk around or even bike around the lake. Relax by the beach and catch some nice little waves. You can also rent paddle boats, row boats, and kayaks by the hour and it's all reasonably priced. Great metropark.
