  • We were initially bummed when we got to the camp grounds because we thought it was higher up in the pines. However, our site was nicely shaded and overlooked the golf course. It was quiet and near...  more »
  • We went on a snow mobile tour through the state park. it was awesome. It was so neat to see the cabins where people live inside the park areas. If you take a snow mobile tour, do one at around noon...  more »
  • The visitor center hiking trails are short, tho if you like to go loop to loop, repeating some parts, you can get about 7 miles in. If not, they are short loops or out and backs. The campground has....  more »

  • Stayed here for one night in Aug ‘19. Beautiful scenery. 20 more Nd from Park City UT. 3 more ma from the quaint little town of Midway. Rangers were very nice and helpful. Facilities very clean and modern. We had a reservation in the O loop but the site was way too small for even our pop up and Ram. We switched to the C loop which was nice.
  • There are quite a few good trails for mountain biking in the park, but the best of all has to be the WOW trail. WOW for the 10+ miles of downhill (if you shuttle to the top). WOW for the trail that goes through aspens, mountain meadows, pine trees and sagebrush. WOW for lots nicely built turns. And WOW for incredible views. And there aren’t nearly as many people that ride this as get on Wasatch Crest.
  • A life long favorite of mine in the Heber Valley. Midway and the Wasatch Mountain golf course is such a beautiful experience. The golf course was 95% and the play was good. Saturdays can be a little slow, but if you have "normal" people in front of you and behind you, it all works out. The course has obviously been managed extremely well over the years. I have been coming here with my family for over 30 years.
  • I have been going to Wasatch golf course for 5 to 6 years in the fall. It is extremely well cared for. We always see wild turkeys and deer on the mountain course. As long as it is not wet the mountain course is the better side. The temperature is usually much cooler than anywhere in the salt lake valley or Provo. Take the time to enjoy the town of Midway or Heber City.
  • This is a nice place with beautiful scenery. I wish they had more full hookups. The site I stayed had water and a 20amp plug, no sewer hookups. They have numerous staff and camp hosts. This made it so the showers and sites were clean. One star off for no sewer.
