  • This is a fantastic, historic university with a great student population, located in a hip, progressive college town. If passing through Connecticut, consider a stop in Middletown and take a look at W...  read more »

  • I've been to the pool at Wesleyan so many times I've lost count. Each time, I keep thinking maybe it will be better this time. Seating, air quality and concessions just are generally terrible. This ti...  read more »
  • I live near the Wesleyan University and the campus buildings are very historic and beautiful! It is a great place to take pictures and take walks and the scenery is absolutely amazing!!
  • Went to Wesleyan for my MALS (2009-2011)--wonderful experience! Professors were highly knowledgeable and friendly. The campus is beautiful and they offer a very flexible MALS program for people with jobs and families.
  • My daughter has just started (freshman.) She is VERY happy. She reports that Sophomores and other Freshmen were very welcoming. Beautiful campus. Parents' Weekend was fun and inspirational. The A Capella chorus at the end of the event was lovely.
  • I applied was accepted and visited. Perhaps what felt right initially was quickly washed away when being on campus. The drugs, the attitude and the generally run down feeling of both the campus and the surrounding town was so disappointing. I didn't get a good feel for the students but I knew I would not fit in. It has a reputation from 30-40 years ago as being a good LAC, but lack of money and now investments mean they cannot compete with better LACs today. Shame but it looked good on paper not so much when you get up close.
  • great education. I am proud of it. Definitely helped me save and teach others, as well as take care of myself. Wish my upbringing--including college--taught me better how to make money in the real world, for the purposes of self-care. -- now a physician.
