  • We enjoyed the tour of Belle Grove plantation. The staff was very knowledgeable and gave plenty of time to ask questions. Be sure to check out the Civil War bullet holes in the front porch columns.  more »

  • Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Enjoy local history and picturesque views. Tons of events. Check out their website for the next festival/ exciting adventure scheduled!
  • Very nice and informative. Kids want to go back for the reenactment
  • Wondering onto the because of traffic, ended up they were hosting a reenactment, awesome day
  • Filled with American History - both the War for Independence and the Civil War, the latter of which is part of site where the Battle of Cedar Creek was fought on October 19, 1864.
  • I found this festival a joke, way over priced and misleading - Really! The misleading part is: Microbrew which it's NOT. I didn't see any Microbrewery just the Big Companies (Bud Light, Heineken, BlueMoon etc etc) with little glasses 4oz - $25 at the Gate ($20 online), you get 10 tickets to drink (1 ticket per glass fill) and if you want more tickets it's $1 for 1.
