  • I was bummed last time I went because they used to have a really cool prairie dog enclosure set up like an ant cage where you could see tunnels and whatnot, and a big monkey enclosure with monkeys run...  read more »
  • We visited this zoo on a nice fall Friday afternoon. Not crowded at all, perfect size for our little ones (5 and 2) to walk around. Really like the Grizzly Bear and otter exhibits; parakeets were also...  read more »
  • Used to live just a couple blocks away, but hadn't been here in more than 10 years. Even better now-- husband and kids loved it too. Be prepared for hills though-- it's not just a casual stroll throug...  read more »
  • Tiny but quaint old school style zoo. Great location right by a nice park and beach. Easy to spend the day there. Hilly with some spots only accessible by stairs. Nothing special animal wise, typical small zoo selection. Cool gift shop. Good Zoo for smaller kids.
  • Nice zoo with some rather steeps hills. It could be a little difficult to get around this zoo if you have mobility problems. It does however, make for some interesting angles in which to see the animals. Fairly priced.
  • It's a nice zoo for little childen. My son loved seeing the animals. It's open until 5 not 4. I thought they closed at 4 so I was hauling a## a bit thinking I had to be there by 3 and I get off of work at 2. Wish they would change the times that way people would know to come by 4, not 3. Other than that, everything else was great. Will be returning.
  • A nice assortment of different animals. The large tiger at the entrance was a nice start to the zoo. We spent about an hour here and $7/person for non-resident seemed very fair. It looks like they are doing more adding and remodeling as well. There was one part at the back near the family restrooms that had a bunch of construction, dirt, and metal pieces on the ground that was not roped off. That was pretty questionable.
  • Very well kept, smaller zoo. Friendly staff. Self guided zoo. Great gift shop. Must feed the birds in the bird enclosure!
