Watch Java monkeys dive into pools to fetch a snack from a guide's hand at Monkey Jungle. The Java monkey troop was introduced into the area in 1933 and thrived in the mangrove swamps. This troop and the other 30 species of primates now roam freely among the trees. Catch sight of their playful swinging and curious exploring as you walk through the protected area. • Monkey jungle was the best thing I did on vacation. The staff is amazing- Elizabeth helped to get me into the rainforest adventure tour and it was really a once in a lifetime experience! You pay an extra fee to feed the monkeys and they crawl all over you, it's so cool. Absolutely go if you are on the fence and pay the extra fee to experience the tour
  • Every few years we go to monkey jungle and take the tour. The tour goes off the regular path and into the jungle with the monkeys. Charlie has been there for many years now is a great guide and very knowledgable about the monkeys. Within a few minutes of his call monkeys start appearing in the trees and we are all given food to feed them. They will walk right on your shoulders and arms to get a good snack. Very relaxing time in the jungle without anything else to think about except the monkeys. A great experience for all. Kids especially!
  • Very shaded, a lot more interactive than expected! Multiple shows and rainforest guides with the smaller monkeys. They swarm around for your food hahaha
  • LOTS of monkeys. Had a good time. Enjoyed feeding them. They regularly give discounts on tickets so be on the lookout for them if you want to go.
  • This is such a cool experience! My husband and I went during the late morning/early afternoon time and had a blast! We paid for the full rainforest tour and were able to feed the monkeys. It was incredible. Charlie (our guide) told us the best tips for how to get the monkeys right to us. He let us stay and feed some monkeys a little past our time and even sent us on our way with some monkey food for the rest of the park. It was a day I will not soon forget and I am so happy with the whole experience! I would recommend going in the morning so that the monkeys are hungry and ready for food! You will probably get the most monkey interaction during that time.
