Where to stay in Miami

Miami's South Beach boasts one of the largest collections of boutique hotels in the country. Though it can be quite expensive, staying in this area ensures proximity to the city's best shoreline, clubs, shopping, and restaurants, not to mention Art Deco buildings. Mid-Beach and downtown also make great places to stay, offering some superb apartment rentals and small hotels, though the neighborhoods are not as glamorous as South Beach. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid the high season during winter months. If money is no object, get a room with a view before it gets too hot along the famous stretch of Collins Avenue between 15th and 23rd Street.

  • Miami has a lot better malls than this one. Mostly low quality shops. Costco just moved here which is the only highlight I can think off.  more »
  • Time has not been kind to the Mall of the Americas in Miami. Most of the stores have closed and moved elsewhere or just gone out of business.  more »
  • Bad traffic, obsolete food court, a bunch of useless shoe stores, bathrooms worse than most gas stations, stained ceiling tiles everywhere. Never coming back here.  more »

  • Old Navy Store very well stocked. The specialty stores carry a variety of lovely items including accessories and jewelry. The mall's Food Court is a fine place for brunch or fine dinning.
  • The mall itself is pretty run down. The best part about this shopping center would have to be the Costco and Home Depot, hence why I don't of it has a traditional mall.
  • Very convenient for a quick chop. Enough variety of stores, nice play area for kids, quick message place in the hallway. Food court not that good.
  • Mall is almost empty and doesn't look like is sticking around for long. Ross, Marshalls and some other stores are still good and cheap but the place looks like more of a flea market than a mall.
  • Excellent! Agent was knowledgeable and quite efficient. I was in an out in half the time. I anticipated and with my issue resolved..nuff respect!
