Little Havana, Miami
(2.1/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
Visit Cuba without leaving U.S. soil at Little Havana, with its lively restaurants, music, and Cuban street culture. Stroll down Calle Ocho, the neighborhood's main street, and take in the atmosphere--watch an older generation play dominoes, eat fruit from one of the many fruit stands, drink a fragrant Cuban coffee, or indulge in a locally rolled cigar from El Credito cigar factory. Dance to traditional Cuban and Afro-Cuban street music, drop by one of the many galleries, or visit one of the four Catholic churches in the area. Be sure to try a pastelito, a traditional sweet and flaky Cuban pastry filled with cheese or cheese and guava. • Interesting stop to get off on the bus tour.I imagine the area is as close to Cuba as you will get . Lost of bars/cafe/resturanys. Tried a lovely short cuban coffee.People friendly..
  • We visited 8th Street and its surroundings. Liked by trades, paintings and see people in the Park playing domino. It is worth visiting it.

  • A loud Cuban music no doubt will accompany you in this street where alternate restaurants and shops of souvenirs for tourists. Frankly nothing attractive despite some frescoes. An hour is more than enough to go around. It's very authentic! If you have nothing else to do.
