  • When I read about this museum, it sounded incredible so I made it my priority in Miami. There were some interesting displays but overall I found it underwhelming. Just an overview of history rather th...  more »

  • Miami History presents an interesting collection about the history of Miami. Its collection is accommodated in two buildings, the first (larger) dedicated to tell the city's past, from its prehistoric inhabitants until the latest days and the second building (smaller) bringing curious objects and contemporaries of Miami. The staff were very friendly and everything is very well organized. Admission is $10 and paid $8. They accepted the membership card of my University in Brazil. Thanks a lot have gone to History Miami! I waited over 3 hours.

  • the museum is amazing... the front desk attendants are Excellent !! they are very nice and helpful !!! i was so surprised and happy to be there
  • It is a pretty good museum for the price. Quite affordable and depending upon your pace would take an hour or two to visit both building. I doubt it would ever be worth a return trip. One nice thing is that everything was in both English and Spanish.
  • I went to the Frank Sinatra exhibition a few week ago and it was amazing! I highly recommend it! It will be there until June 5th! If you are a Frank Sinatra fan this is a must-go!
  • Great museum. Lots of artifacts, and historical items. Does a good job of telling the story of Miami.
  • To charge full adult admission for a 3 year old is a rip off. They offered no price break, not even a student rate (the security guard outside the museum was even shocked). I'm sure this place offers great history and exhibits but management needs to reconsider their rate structure.
