  • This beach is magical. You feel like in paradise. Far from the busy and noisy beaches, it's more than worthy to go !  more »
  • You are immersed in the peace, between the Green and the sea, in a beautiful atmosphere that is worth living. The sea is not suitable for swimming though.

  • There are rocks, you are not very careful, nor the people who attends is really nice. Use it to spend the day, make barbecue. I didn't.

  • There is no place like home. Home is where the heart is. My heart is here. I'm a water bird. I see and feel the motion and the moods of the ocean. I watch it get excited as we near the weekends and holidays. I see her turn to black ice and become as smooth as glass without some much as the tiniest ripple. I feel her rage and rise up like a disgruntled protestors. She dances with the wind, and shares her moisture with the sun. And reaps the mighty rains with the vibrations of the thunder. The activity from the great manatees, dolphins, and the multitude of fish, foul and sea creators is comparable to the living things on land. She gets a 5 star rating above the awesome view. Its for the thinks she says when she learns to talk to you. Like "I know I stole your heart but welcome home".
  • This area was at one time a "colored beach." Today, it is mostly roadside beach. Great to walk , run, or bike. They have kayak and stand up paddle board rental stations scattered around. Great view.
  • Such an amazing place! You see people walking with their backpacks, others cycling while you are there for rowing and paddleball on the beach. That's one of the best places for whom looks for nature in Miami region
  • This is a really neat area to check out but I wouldn't consider it one of the better beaches. There are definitely some areas that are nice, but there are alot of rocks and shells.
  • Relaxing beach with a great view; it has never been too crowded on the days that we've gone there. Bring your own food and drinks since there's no place to purchase them nearby.

Where to stay in Miami

Miami's South Beach boasts one of the largest collections of boutique hotels in the country. Though it can be quite expensive, staying in this area ensures proximity to the city's best shoreline, clubs, shopping, and restaurants, not to mention Art Deco buildings. Mid-Beach and downtown also make great places to stay, offering some superb apartment rentals and small hotels, though the neighborhoods are not as glamorous as South Beach. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid the high season during winter months. If money is no object, get a room with a view before it gets too hot along the famous stretch of Collins Avenue between 15th and 23rd Street.
