  • Very beautiful scenery. Historical house and landmark. Great location for weddings and ceremonial events. I was lucky enough to visit during the Mars viewing on May 22, 2016. They had an organization set up a few telescopes for the public to see Mars and Jupiter. There was also an epic massive lunar eclipse. If you get the chance to visit, I recommend you bring something for a picnic and make sure you bring mosquito repellent. And of course don't forget your camera!
  • Was there for a wedding. You can do an outdoor wedding on the lawn between the mansion and the water on beautiful manicured lawn. If weather should threaten the event from being outdoors you are allowed to use a large room on ground level that can accommodate about 100 + people. They have a nice trail that goes around the inlet and it is not unusual to see manatee's especially during the winter months.
  • Lovely waterside park with historical estate building. Worth to take a look. They provide natural kayak tour as well.
  • This place is so peaceful, to me at least. The free tour was worth it although there is a $12 fee to visit. Its a cool spot if you want to do a picnic.
  • If you go on a day with good weather, I'm partial to windy, you will see the beauty of this location. You can use your imagination to fill in the gaps that modern times creates. A very worth while visit.
