  • What a glorious architectural masterpiece is this massive estate. Besides the historical significance, the setting is quite impressive.
  • A beautiful place, quiet, cool, where you can have a direct contact with nature, outdoor events.

  • I would guess that the main attraction of this estate is its view of the water, because most of the buildings are almost rustic. The Mediterranean-style villa is more upscale, but really not all that ...  read more »
  • Was there for a wedding. You can do an outdoor wedding on the lawn between the mansion and the water on beautiful manicured lawn. If weather should threaten the event from being outdoors you are allowed to use a large room on ground level that can accommodate about 100 + people. They have a nice trail that goes around the inlet and it is not unusual to see manatee's especially during the winter months.
  • Very beautiful scenery. Historical house and landmark. Great location for weddings and ceremonial events. I was lucky enough to visit during the Mars viewing on May 22, 2016. They had an organization set up a few telescopes for the public to see Mars and Jupiter. There was also an epic massive lunar eclipse. If you get the chance to visit, I recommend you bring something for a picnic and make sure you bring mosquito repellent. And of course don't forget your camera!
  • Very pleasant and beautiful grounds - great for the young ones. Tons of varying events periodically throughout the year, no matter your level of interests. Perfect on a cloudy day or when humidity is low. Lots of land to cover and a lot to explore. Very historic and will take you to a time long ago. Definitely a Miami-Dade gem.
  • If you go on a day with good weather, I'm partial to windy, you will see the beauty of this location. You can use your imagination to fill in the gaps that modern times creates. A very worth while visit.
  • Hidden gem in Palmetto Bay. Visit the free dock beside the estate. Wonderful place to launch a kayak.
