  • Bayside Marketplace has so much to offer. Retail shops, dining, bars, live music and events, boat tours and walking distance to the arena and downtown Brickell area. Great place to spend the afternoon...  more »
  • Nice place where you can take a walk and see some shop but anything hilarious. You must try the "eateries" upstairs ... are almost of Baba stuff but Cook of great things.

  • Bayside made me feel like a tourist in Miami, has all the good and bad of a typical tourist spot; many service offerings, a lot of people, a wide variety of products and some restaurants. It's nice to see the movement of boats. I think it's worth a visit if you are not very sophisticated.

  • Love this place. They have live music while you're doing your shopping or people watching. They also have outdoor seating if you grab some food and are not eating in one of the restaurants like the Hard Rock or Hooters. Saw some exotic eel like creature swimming in the water, and also took a speed boat ride from the pier. Parking was quick and seamless. Great place for locals and tourists alike.
  • Many good restaurants if you're the type to want to know what you're getting. Fun public area where locals perform Latin music and dance on balmy weekend nights. People watching is great and the shops are perfect for those who are traveling and may need excess luggage or basics. The vendors also provide a lot of fun, kitschy souvenirs for those visiting the area.
  • Lacated in the heart of downtown Miami, Bayside Market Place has a little bit of everything starting from restaurants, clubs to stores. You can also get your ticket for a boat tour. The boats are located in the back of Bayside. This is one of the best places to bring young kids, especially if you're a family oriented person. You'll love it. Bayside is less than a 1/4 of mile away from American Airlines Arena (Miami Heat Arena) and less than 20 feet from Bay Front Park where you can have so much fun. Enjoy your trip
  • Bayside was a super fun place to visit. They had really great souvenir shops and a great selection of beach shopping attire. We went on a boat excursion that took us to see the celebrity beach houses and the DJ made sure to play the celebrities song or a song related to the celebrity. The ship gave us drink tickets for our purchase to enjoy at the near by bar after the cruise which was a bonus. Bayside also has a great selection of bars and restaurants.
  • More than shopping, I enjoyed just strolling along this place to say the truth. The place seemed really alive on the day I visited. Probably because it was Thanksgiving time but anyway, it was nice. We get some good views from here. There was live music too which added to the fun factor. Parking was a bit confusing initially but fair enough. There are chances that it may be full during holidays. It is metered parking though. We had some coconut ice cream and tender coconut which was good. We also visited a few shops around. Nothing to complain about. Will recommend visiting this place when in Miami.

Where to stay in Miami

Miami's South Beach boasts one of the largest collections of boutique hotels in the country. Though it can be quite expensive, staying in this area ensures proximity to the city's best shoreline, clubs, shopping, and restaurants, not to mention Art Deco buildings. Mid-Beach and downtown also make great places to stay, offering some superb apartment rentals and small hotels, though the neighborhoods are not as glamorous as South Beach. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid the high season during winter months. If money is no object, get a room with a view before it gets too hot along the famous stretch of Collins Avenue between 15th and 23rd Street.
