Bayfront Park, Miami
(4.3/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
An urban waterfront site, Bayfront Park covers 13 hectares (32 acres) of downtown Miami. The park features a beach area, rock garden, waterfalls, monuments, sculptures, and an amphitheater. Famed sculptor Isamu Noguchi designed the park in 1980 and included three of his sculptures: the Slide Mantra, the Challenger Memorial, and the Light Tower. Amble along the boardwalk for views of the waterfront, or explore the paths within the park for close-up views of Noguchi's sculptures. Find the plaque marking the spot where Franklin D. Roosevelt avoided a possible assassination attempt in 1933, which claimed the life of Chicago's mayor, Anton Cermak. • The park has a very nice view of water and lots of greenery and a feeling of a huge park. There are several homeless people here who seem to be staying to themselves and not really bothering anyone. A...  more »
  • A very nice place to visit in Miami, appreciate the beauty of the city with a very pleasant atmosphere, with the possibility of listening to live music and enjoy various restaurants. Varied shops of souvenirs, with price not so convenient truth, I recommend to buy in supermarkets keyrings, magnets and those kind of memories, as they are the same and much more affordable. The Park at night is very nice and safe, account with parking within it that are more convenient to the public, as well as having a incredible view to the coast can be seen with better perspective downtown that is steps away from this. A visit is recommended during your stay in Miami.

  • I was there when Bayside make the grand-opening back in 1985! Is a wonderful place to visit! You have it all, from free yoga at the park to water views concerts, shops and restaurants. If you are visiting Miami plan a day to spend in Bayside!
  • Excelent open air park with art sculptures, icecream trucks and nice views Bayfront is a hotspot for major festivals and events. Home to Ultra Music festival, the Mercedes Benz Corporate Run, and NYE rise of the orange a weird New Years Eve edition here in South Florida. If your from out of town check out Bayside Mall right next door for hop on hop off buses, boat tours, mojitos, and all things tourist.
  • Great venue! Even the lawn seats provide you with a great view. Plenty of accessible restrooms, great drinks and amazing food stands.
  • was there for the 2016 Miami Marathon. Great event space. Abundant open space.
  • Whoever thought it was a good idea to put an arena outdoors in South Florida needs to be shot! There is absolutely no shade and no air moving through with all the crowd.
