Where to stay in Miami

Miami's South Beach boasts one of the largest collections of boutique hotels in the country. Though it can be quite expensive, staying in this area ensures proximity to the city's best shoreline, clubs, shopping, and restaurants, not to mention Art Deco buildings. Mid-Beach and downtown also make great places to stay, offering some superb apartment rentals and small hotels, though the neighborhoods are not as glamorous as South Beach. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid the high season during winter months. If money is no object, get a room with a view before it gets too hot along the famous stretch of Collins Avenue between 15th and 23rd Street.

  • It's as nice as the event. During Heat games, you want to be in the lower bowl area. Seats are o.k. but if you're a big guy, they may seem cramped. Parking is available around the arena. It's as good ...  more »

  • We went to see Paul McCartney's One on One tour. Super big place, staff is pretty good, food is great, and its awesome for families to come and see a show. Amazing, I loves it!
  • Security staff was excellent. However, we waited 30 minutes before we were allowed to enter the restaurant 601. It states the restaurant opens 90 minutes before a concert and this was not the case.Given the weather conditions today, it is important to stay on time, there were at least 30 people aside from myself eating at gate 5. PLEASE GET IT RIGHT.
  • Our seats were changed and we were sent up to the fourth floor then the third floor ending up on the first floor. Only to have to go back up to the third floor. One of the men in charge was quite rude at first. He got us to our seats with a better attitude which was appreciated. The arena needs a better system if they close a section.
  • Event was well organized. Food and drink stands open on all levels. Easily reachable by metro mover or trolly. Really enjoyed the show last night. Will return 😊
  • even if you are not a big fan of basketball, just being there is a grateful experience. I loved it. I have been here twice and both occasions were great!
