  • Super easy to find. Able to walk from Bayside mall if needed to park there. Clean and great atmosphere  more »
  • The stadium is very modern and organized, the entrance is super easy and you can park in the car parks in the area that charge you $15 stay. I went to see an NBA game, and even though he was one of the more distant seats, could watch the game very well.

  • The American Airlines Arena is the home of the Miami Heat team. My spouse and I attended in the company of some friends to enjoy a game of basketball. Access to the sand is very easy, but must be the ticket to the hand, because unless they ask for it 2 times before fully entering the place. I recommend coming by public transport as Metromover, or private transportation, since parking options are expensive, and output traffic is heavy. The place was very friendly and they are always on the lookout for the safety of the attendees. There are escalators and elevators for who might need them. If you will buy food, try to eat it before sitting down, unless it is the drink, a hotdog or popcorn that are easier to maneuver, as the space is fair and is not very comfortable to eat inside the arena, unless they are in the VIP area. The atmosphere at matches is very fun and family! We are children from 1 year of age. It is worthwhile to attend parties!

  • Lady Gaga concert was amazing!!!!! The stage is very cool because it rises and splits and tilts. There were walkways that dropped from the ceiling that were really cool, too. Our seats had a lighting rig that blocked about half of the stage, but we'll know better next time, and go lower. We were impressed with the staff as well. Everyone was nice!!! Everyone was helpful and seemed excited to be there. It was wonderful.
  • American Airlines Arena is a great basketball arena and venue. I go for Heat basketball games a few times every season. I love to go. There is a good view all around the stadium, the atmosphere is fun and engaging, and there's lots to eat and drink. Just like any stadium, pricing is high and parking is hard to come by if you're late to the game but those are common issues among stadiums. Arena is still a great spot to watch games and I would recommend it to all.
  • Was there for the Lady Gaga concert a few weeks back and again today for Katy Perry. I live coming here for concerts, one of my favorite venues. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The only down side is the food is expensive but still rate a 5 because it's better than most of the arenas I've been to and there's a lot to choose from too.
  • I love going to the American Airlines Arena, especially when I get to watch my Heat winning the game! There is no bad view anywhere, and the people working there are all so courteous and helpful! Whether you're going for a game or a concert, you will have a great time!
  • Very nice arena with a comfortable VIP / suite area. They confiscated my beloved pepper spray though. Where is the fun in hanging around large crowds when one does not have pepper spray?

Where to stay in Miami

Miami's South Beach boasts one of the largest collections of boutique hotels in the country. Though it can be quite expensive, staying in this area ensures proximity to the city's best shoreline, clubs, shopping, and restaurants, not to mention Art Deco buildings. Mid-Beach and downtown also make great places to stay, offering some superb apartment rentals and small hotels, though the neighborhoods are not as glamorous as South Beach. If you're traveling on a budget, avoid the high season during winter months. If money is no object, get a room with a view before it gets too hot along the famous stretch of Collins Avenue between 15th and 23rd Street.
