My nephew and I had a few hours to spend before our flight out of Miami. We had spent a week in Key West. So we decided to play at Calder Casino. BIG MISTAKE! While we were at a machine, security came... read more »
A fun place. All you can eat buffet with outstanding food and service. Huge variety. Special early bird prices!
The Florida gambling commission should do a thorough investigation of this casino. I have been to this casino twice in the last 6 months and can't believe the pay out is at the state requirements. It'... read more »
I liked the casino. The security is on point, alert, and helpful. The players club reps were nice and greeted me with a smile the 2x I went. However, they failed to explain how to work their vouchers. I received a buffet voucher but was never told that I must print it. The same day I later brought a friend and she received one as well. When I called to ask why I couldn't see the voucher online I was told I had to print it the same day. The guy was very nice in explaining but if I went twice and was never advised of that they should still honor the voucher. I don't think an apology was good enough.
i rake my mother to this ace where i i feel wellcome and i can see people wining.the music is great also they have. good places to eat ..very cleand and friendly from the moment you walk in
false advertisement--misleading commercial says new members get a free buffet but website says new members have a chance to earn a free buffet i will pass as this place is also located in a very bad high crime area of miami dade
It's clean, it's small and it's a all computer/high tech place and U can self serve yourself free soda. Somewhere in the back is in small print, no weapons allowed, since it's NOT a Indian land casino, as long as U have a license, carry on and discreetly. They give U a $25 in house gaming credit for newcomers.
I have been going to Calder for over 30 years. It has always been my favorite place to watch and wager on the thoroughbreds. Now, with the new casino, there is a wider range of gaming. The cool, clean casino is very easy to get around. If you need a drink or a meal, many choices are nearby. Everyone I have told to check out the new casino has had a great experience. The friendly staff has been very helpful, too.
