Beautiful clean soft sand beaches that are shallow almost to the buoy line....on rough sea days, the life guards are very cautious and aim to keep people safe. If you have littles, know that there IS a likely possibility that there will be topless woman, and even the chance of fully naked people... But other than that, people are great about cleaning up after themselves(even the few homeless we saw were amazingly clean) and everyone was pleasant and respectful.

This is one the best part of south beach. This broad walk is almost covers all the south beach and ends at south point pier point which is at the end of the south beach. This walkway is beautiful as it runs parallel to collins avenue. One side of this walk access to beach’s and other side is all hotels/ resorts and restaurants. If you are in south beach Miami this is must. Below are the highlights. 1. Romantic walks as it runs along with the shore 2. Best to Ride the bikes (as this is only for manual bike and walkers - no electric bike allowed). 3. It stretches up to 4 miles. 4. Along the broad walk there are lot of parks when you can sit and relax. 5. If you are fitness freak you can enjoy outdoor gyms in the park. 6. It also connects to ocean drive where you can have all the evening fun with restaurants and bars. 7. Lot of beach park and citibike points along the broadway. 8. Last one it’s safe anytime as there will be police always.

Simply beautiful. Walked 4 miles on the boardwalk, pleasant surprises throughout.

The "boardwalk" is a very nice brick path running the length of Miami Beach, from South Point to the boundary with Surfside six miles north. It is filled with people exercising in the morning, and with people strolling in the late afternoon and early evening. Outside of South Beach, it gets less use in the heat of the day. It's the best way to go any distance on foot in Miami Beach. Biking in the beach path is faster than driving on the roads if you're going more than a couple of miles.

Nice clean beach. I like that it has place I can rinse off sands and salt from my body before I walk back to my hotel. It also has nice landscaping and walk way for people to run, walk and bike day/night.
