  • I went in with my daughter last Dec. There is a $10 cover charge but well worth it. We watched a few performances and danced on the floor. It was electric and fun.  more »
  • I go every time while in South Beach and am never disappointed. Went here on my last visit for lunch and enjoyed the quesadilla, guac, and a margarita. Service was friendly and quick as always.  more »
  • Nice place to go to. Yes it is touristic and yes they ask for a cover charge to enter. But there is constantly entertainment, singing, dancing and the bar service is very quick and nice. Really a...  more »

  • I was in the neighborhood waiting for Pagan Idol to open. I checked my bookmarks....uh collections (anyone else annoyed bookmarks are now collections?) and saw that Topsy's was right around the corner. From reviews I was expecting more of a theme. I didn't notice much of a theme at all. I ordered a Peach Perfect off the Happy Hour menu. It was very good. Bartender was friendly but spent most of her time talking to two guys at the end of the bar. I really liked the music they were playing. Seems like it would be a fun place later in the evening when it gets busy.
  • If you’ve never walked Ocean Drive in Miami, that is a must. It’s almost as bad as Vegas and New York, as every restaurant has someone out there trying to get you to come eat at their place. Lots of outdoor seating at all the restaurants and great for people watching. Our first stop was Mango’s Tropical Cafe. It’s quite an interesting take and if you are easily offended with the way the servers are dressed in leopard skin tight outfits, it’s not a place for you. They get up on the bar and entertain you. The band that was playing was really good and very entertaining. It was like being an a smaller concert. Again, everything in Miami is pretty pricey so fill up your wallets with smaller bills. I ordered Tito’s vodka and ginger ale with a splash of cranberry and my husband order gin and tonic and it was $18 and gratuity was included. So watch for that on your bill. It must be a Miami thing also, not every restaurant will allow you to take your beverage with you in a cup to walk around. So if that is something important to you as you walk around ask. They will let you know if they can or not.
  • This place is a must see if you want to relax and enjoy a entertaining dance show. It is a little expensive but that is to be expected. One downfall of this place is the service. It took almost 30 minutes to be greeted. This may have been because the servers were just getting clocked in and ready but we should have been told beforehand.. Upper level seating has no price limit but we were told if we wanted to sit on the ground level we would have to make our bill about $100 or more. That’s fine for a large party but there was only 2 of us. The food was very very good! And the dancing was great. I would come back again. I don’t understand why others don’t like this place. It was enjoyable!
  • Great place for some Latin music! We went on a Thursday night around 11:30pm and the place was CROWDED. It was a lot of fun and very entertaining. Live performances and great music. As stated by some others, the drinks are quite expensive (just like every places in Miami Beach). There was an entrance fee of 10$, which is probably the lowest you’ll pay in that area for coming in that late.
  • We went to mango’s twice on our recent trip to Miami. The first night we had a reservation and did dinner with a show. The entertainment was fun, service was great and food was also pretty good! We had a lot of fun. Second night my husband and I went back but we were a bit disappointed. Since we didn’t do the whole experience and just went for drinks, the service was okay, but not very friendly and we were bothered by the smoke. Nearly everyone by the bar was smoking, and I got sick and we had to leave. Also their drinks are pricey but not that good. For that reason I’m giving it 3 stars.
